Of particular interest the following quote...

"Issues involving homes near businesses — particularly industrial complexes — are often contentious, as is the case in Quinte West where residents have been battling the city and CB Freezers for three years over noise emanating from the business.

Neighbours have complained bitterly that the mayor and city hall are putting jobs ahead of the quality of life for area residents, some of whom have put blankets over their windows to try to deaden the sound."

Environmental Registry

Anyone with concerns or questions about CB Freezers current application for a Certificate of Approval for noise and air emissions has until March 24, 2011 to submit them for consideration during the Ministry of the Environment's decision making process.
