According to the Environmental Protection Act, Ontarians are protected from the effects of contaminants (including sound & vibration) which results in "loss of enjoyment of normal use of property" and adverse health effects.
The noise emissions from CB Freezers/Chill Chain Logistics, located at 80 Carrying Place Road in Trenton, Ontario, have been so bad that some area residents say that their health and quality of life are affected. CB Freezers/Chill Chain Logistics is aware of the effect their noise has but they continue to disrupt area residents.
The Ministry of the Environment has said that they "are actively working to ensure that the City of Quinte West and CBF resolve this noise issue." Why has it taken so long for this matter to be taken seriously?
